cleaning them from possible remaining impurities
and homogenizing them in length
to facilitate the next spinning operations.

After the carding,
the cotton fiber is ready to be spun
and to finally take the form of a yarn.

The twisting phase aims to combine
and twist more yarns together
to increase their resistance.
The yarn distaff is the final product
of this step and it is closer and closer
to become fabric.
