From the Plant to the Fiber

COTTON MONITORING

Welcome to our exclusive plantations in the province of Xin Jiang, vast cotton expanses managed with criteria of full sustainability and in harmony with the rhythms of the nature. The farmers are unburdened by the hard, although necessary, task of monitoring the ripening level of the cotton which is entrusted to devices in step with the technological evolution and with an extremely perceivable precision. Ultramodern drones fly over the whole area of the fields to control potential diseases or pest infestations of the plants acting promptly to take care of them one by one among thousands of hectares of plantations.

MATURE COTTON

As soon as the danger of the night frosts is averted, between the end of March and the beginning of April, the sowing of our cotton occurs and after six long months of care and growth, it is finally ripe and ready to be subjected to one of the most delicate phases of the cycle, the harvest. The harvest happens at intervals of minimum three coats between September and October, splitting between the harvest of the winter and summer cotton.

AUTOMATED COTTON HARVEST

In our plantations, the tough work of the harvest is subtracted to the man and it becomes automated, assuring excellent results thanks to the mechanical division of the flake from the plant. The harvesters leave the plant at a height of 30 centimeters that, after just a month, is green again and ready for the next ripening.
