TELL ME SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR FIRST STEPS WITH THE BLOG, WHEN AND WHY YOU DECIDED TO START IT?

I started the blog back in September 2014, which sounds like quite a while ago, but for me, I feel like I’m relatively new to the blogging community. Men’s fashion blogs were — and still are — relatively niche, so I wanted to try it for myself. Essentially, I created the blog as a platform to share my personal style

WHAT DOES FASHION MEAN TO YOU?

Fashion for me is about expressing yourself and feeling good. Spend time learning what you like to wear and over time you’ll find yourself with a wardrobe that you love and is a reflection of your true style.

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE BEFORE DEDICATING YOURSELF TO THE BLOG? WERE YOU ALREADY INTO FASHION AT ALL OR DID YOU FOLLOW OTHER PATHS?

Before the blog, I was writing for a few online magazines to learn about the industry and become accustomed to writing consistently. It was a great way to learn, and learn quickly. Alongside this, I was studying Multimedia Journalism at university, so I had a lot to juggle. I decided in my second year that I wanted to focus on creating a blog, so alongside my studies, this is what I did.

TELL ME ABOUT YOUR STYLE, DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE ANYTHING THAT MAKES YOU DIFFERENT COMPARED TO THE OTHER FASHION BLOGGERS.

Everyone has their own style to some degree. Mine focuses on good quality pieces that might be quite simple at first glance, but closer inspection reveals detail… It could be the fit of the piece or the fabric. It’s the finer details that I like to focus on.
