When the shearing period arrives the nomadic herders thoroughly inspect the goats' fleeces for a gentle combing of their fur, careful not to damage the fibers; then a sheering from the farmers makes room for a new coat to grow in, allowing the goats to be able to enjoy the warmer months and be able to move around more freely without the access weight of their heavy winter coats.
This ensures high-quality Mongolian Cashmere while supporting local communities where this unique animal naturally roams and works with the natural shedding process of the animal’s fur.
