What makes Monobi special isn’t only the high of quality of the fabrics but also a NFC Tag applied on every product. It allows anyone, simply by a mobile device, to access the DPP (Digital Product Passport) and discover not only the whole product journey but also information about composition and care, durability and repairability, recycling and reusability. A complete verticalized production chain which goes from the yarn to the finished garment and continues up to instructions about the end of life of the garment.

A verticalized production chain – for those who want to know everything

The whole MONOBI garments production chain is in fact tracked and certified to provide costumers and consumers a clear vision of the process. Any step of the vertical production is registered and provides detailed information about every single step of the journey: from the collection of the raw material to the single transformation that the garment has before it becomes a fully traceable one, signed MONOBI. On the official website each product has its own transparency report with information about product performance and features, materials and care, proven product values such as made in Italy, blockchain traced, craftsmanship, biodiversity and many others. Just on the right of the page there is the section “mapped journey” with a detailed description of the company and the steps that the garment inside your wardrobe has gone through, demonstrating the circular ethics of MONOBI. Certified by Renoon® - a private company   supplying all the information needed by people to make responsible choices before buying a product.

Circular ethics – How MONOBI manages its sustainable development model

The circular ethics of the brand is moreover confirmed by the wish to instruct customers with repairing videos about the use and repair of their garments, to let them use their clothes until their end of life. The commitment to environmental protection goes by renewable energies and the optimization of production processes, as well as the complete recovery of the entire textile waste through the Beredo® program. This is a program created with the purpose of reintegrating material scraps into the fashion production cycle or related sectors. This program offers a 100% recovery from cutting straps to fabrics stored in warehouses and finished garments, with the aim of creating new products that are traceable and certified starting from the collection and logistics phases to their delivery.

EU Regulations – None excluded from 2025

Indeed from 2025 every producer or supplier who then wants to sell a product on the European market must meet the requirements of the DPP (Digital Product Passport) settled by the EU Green Deal regulations. These requirements apply to both finished products and sub-products. So, all of them must have information about where they come from, how they are made, how they can be reused and which sustainability labels they have. The main purpose is to benefit consumers with transparent information about the items they buy and to promote the sustainability of products and therefore achieve a circular economy.
